a feckin MTB legend like yourself should be able to do it on a unicycle..as i despise full suss XC bikes and consider them to be the spawn of the gay devil..hardtail all the way..fullsus bikes are for jumping off things..cop on to yourself !!

As much as I don't get full suss XC bikes and cannot for the life of me see any benefit in them..the course is fairly gnarly in spots..rooty, rocky and steep..ahhhh...bend your feckin knees and elbows like we used to in the olden times..!!

Yeh, Why do we even have suspension forks, Remember the good old days Richie, When were running fully rigid forks and no spd's we had with toe clips, People have gone soft nowadays ?

This whole FS v HT is a red herring, we all know the burning question of the day is tyre choice. How knobbly are you going to go, will there be a many Swampthings and High Rollers on show, or will a spell of dry weather see all the Bulldogs and Ignitors out. I'll be on sign on and I want answers to these questions from each rider.
