Reasons for entering Masters

I'm not really ready for Masters but I was standing in Djouce watching the aged groups and a chap from Imbrc can't remember his name was calling me a banger and I was like a mad man down XTC on the first lap and that he was lying in forth or fifth in the imaginary sports championship!!! "Imaginary" f**k that I didn't imagine my heart rate at 182 for 1.18 hrs so I have decided to go for it and enter Masters and back to finishing nowhere but at least it won't be an imaginary nowhere!!!

first of all..you've only been racing a short time.
Finish the season in Sports..you're not ready for Masters.
You're not a banger in Sports..don't be minding gob****es counting scalps in Sports.
I'm your Coach, do what I say..not some knob in an imaginary series.

Nats are a bad time to move up, all the roadie scum turn up and enter Masters. Better to stay in Sports. KCapital Cup starts the following week, its a mass start so you'l see where you're at compared to other folk.

Fair dues Smithers! I'm also determined to train hard for the winter and try and ride Vets next year! What really concerns me about riding Vets is not so much the extra distance/speed but the lack of "competition" at the back end of the class. I watched a few guys on Sunday, who were of a similar standard to me, and they were "tailed off" with no one in front or behind them - it didn't look like much fun - particulary when compared to the "ding-dong" racing we'd had earlier in the Sports race! Don't think that'll be a problem in Masters though - much bigger fields!

When I was younger I had a thing for Vets, ended up getting Myxomatosis of the flute.

you have just improved over the year with the club league and racing, you didn't start the year beating everyone by miles. train over the winter with the savage epic lads and do Masters next year.

you must have thought diddling a rabbit would bring you more luck than just it's foot on your keychain

Darrgah, you've earned your high places in the Sports for your first season..if some clown thinks you don't belong there because they weren't motivated or got the right coaching to get good in a short time, then thats there problem, not yours..
every year theres stupidity surrounding the sports.

hey Richard Flan and myself will be there to keep you awake so don't worry about being left alone,every week you improve so the beauty is that the whole thing keeps getting better.
