Jumpin jimnies!!

I remember lads asking "how they can learn how to jump" and "where is the best place to learn to",,well i have your answer,there is a jump spot in enniskerry,its not secret at all and the main lads who are running the show down there are cool,no hostile ****,its very public,,
There is a table top line that ANYONE can do and its perfect for LEARNING how to get comfortable in the air,getting the two wheels off the ground and keeping the bike level.,Its a fantastic place it realy is,,there is four table tops in a line and there is other stuff there that you can step up to,,
I remember epic lads meeting up ages ago to improve there skills,,i would love to get this going again,,

going to put this out there and see if there is a pick up.anyone interested..

i'll be down with you after the Blast is finished with..organise something then !

Plenty of time in the weeks,get down there and learn how to jump so you can put down your skills at the blast,im down there a few evenigs in the week after work,,so if anyone is interested leave a msg and we'll organise something....

Went for short spin on the road yesterday evening and stopped off to have a look at the jumps in Enniskerry, they're very impressive, alot of time and effort has been put into them. I'd definitley be interested in having a go on them. Was thinking about nicking the wife's small giant xtc to use for them but I'm wondering if someone can recommend a good dirt jump tyre. Don't want to dig up the place using knobblies!! Any recommendations?

When I met him 1st he had a single speed Inbred with "Mary" bars (which he never used), then he bought a Commencal Mini Downhill bike (which he never used) and now he's going jumping ..... and you lot slag me!!!!

Paul, I'm definitely interested and should have a little more time on the bike now that the summer is nearly over . I nearly have a heart attack every time my wheels leave the ground so if there is something happening I will try and be there, we could all learn a lot from being a little bit more stable in the air.

Ah here, that's not fair, I used that Commencal twice!!!

I knew I should have bought an Identiti P45 a few months ago when they were dirt cheap on CRC, there's none left now.

Better get something with a very heavy duty frame! Do you think that Boardman frame that you just sold me would be up to it?

Yeah, this sounds like a great idea....

I would be up for this big time !! can I use my 100mm full sus ? would it be wise to throw on a set of flats ?

Ah yeah I can see it now.... we'll all be on CRC buying DJ bikes in about a week or two... then in about another week or two there will be broken bones all over the place.

So I guess we should try and sort out a date/time then ??

I think I'd want to do it on a small, 24in wheel bike though, bit more chuckable. And more importantly easier to throw aside if things aren't working out!! Most of the jumps there scare the crap out of me but there are a few smaller ones to start off on.

Flats would be a must, you'd kill yourself with Spd's. We should defo sort out a date/time.

Is the location a secret? (dont know enniskerry too well)
or are you allowed to tell anyone?
