If you were in the club and did the club spins DH or XC you'd know Alfie and realize the the tongue in cheek manner his comment was made. In fact if you even bothered to check his posts historically to get a sence of the guy before making your aggressive and youth full comment.
You could however quit commenting on people you don't know and make yourself known on a spin or there's a few guys like you over on IrishDh. Maybe just go back there 1dubdave.

I'm on the northside and go for spins occasionally in Howth, same goes for the Happy Fairy. Mainly night spins. Good craic interrupting the natives at their drug dealing and baby-making activities during night spins... ;-)
Will post if planning spins in Howth, not likely to be for a couple of weeks though.
Alfie can come too, but no one's ever seen him come north of the Liffey, the posh southside, rugby-loving poofter...
