Fundraising run at the Blast

Hey Guys and Gals

I'm going to be doing a fundraising run at the blast, all moneys raised will be going to http://www.olh.ie/Departments/Fundraising/

Basicaly i'm going to do a run of the course wearing a big padded Captain America outfit, i'm hoping to raise a few bucks the usual way, ie sponser form etc and i'll have a small collection thing going on the day. If anyone would like to help out by getting a sponsership form from me and collecting a few euros from friends/family etc that would be brilliant, the forms should be with me within the next few days.
If any of you would like to help then drop me a pm and i can get the ball rolling.

All money raised will be donated by EPIC as a whole and not just by myself or anyone who helps out.

Good man Gaz. Plenty of padding is always a good idea at the Blast anyway.

Should be a good laugh and a nice bonus point for the club. (not that we need any of course)

Does the mask go over your helmet or under it?

Seeing as your Welsh, you might as well go round the field pretending to be one of those mentallers from Dirty Sanchez... probably raise loads of money, even if it is just people paying you to go away.

The mask goes under the helmet, gonna have to make the eyes a bit bigger though, can't see a bloody thing through it.
I can have the wings sticking out the side of it through the vents.

I got the forms in the post today for the sponsorship cards, need to get them filled in asap for the amount i need.

Unfortunatly i'm not going to be able to do this after all, i have managed to tear the muscle off the bone in my elbow and reports from the Doc's this morning arn't to good, cortisone injections and a few weeks off the feckin bike GUTTED.

Just want to thank anyone who offered to help with the fund raising, i will try and organise something else in the near future, see you all at the BLAST.

sorry to hear that,on the positive side cortisone has some performance enhancing quality so you should be flying when you get back !!

Sorry to hear that Gar, get well soon. we can get fat and lazy together, separatly.

That's a real shame, I would have love to have gone toe to toe with Captain America, get well soon and Marshal like the wind.
