I personally don't give a monkeys if it rains from now until 9pm tomorrow, in fact I taunt the rain gods to do their worst between now and then. Its been a ****e summer and it's been the best club league ever, "You may muddy our trails, but you will never dampen our spirits!!"
absolutely couldn't agree with you more Don, its been absolutely brilliant, all the new people have made it the best one yet, the battles between RichardL and Smithers have been brilliant.
I can't believe it over myself, it means poxy winter and buggery night riding is back on the poxy cards !!
I agree it's been a complete blast! 35+ riders every week for 20 weeks - the best race series in the best MTB club in the world!! Shame Smithers is missing the last night - I know he's enjoyed it as much as I have! At least half the craic has been the pints afterwards. Looking forward to next year already!
As an out-and-out-goober I think this has been the best thing i've done in years. For a free event the organisation has been amazing, PDF timing charts, average speed etc. posted only hours after the event. This has to be the best run club event in the country?
Fair play & many thanks to Richie & Fergal all the timers and cheerers. I've really enjoyed every minute of this race league. It's been a gruelling introduction to mountain biking. & I've met some damn fine folk too. & then there's Palmers & the craic . . .
Oh, and of course - well done Richard L on the league win! congratulations!
