thats a good point, but as we all know ( or pretend to know ) what a Goober is and people are afraid to ask what a Goober is because if they did we would brand them a Goober.
The funny thing is, its not a derogratory term.

Colin Bright brought the term back from The New World, but not what it meant, I stole the term and used it to fill a gap in the Nomenclature of Mountainbiking.
A Goober is a person who has all the bits, usually a savage bike and a 3ltr camelback and all the pads and reads all the magazines and who has never jumped or tried it once and had a near fatal injury.
eg Don in St Annes swallowing his tongue.
theres no clear definition of a Goober, its like smoke..or white magic, but after a fierce regime of personal abuse and a few outings with Byrners *******oes, you develop the Black magic and become a full on Golden God..
we love the Goobers though, without them we'd just be a big growling mass of tattoed bike wreckin freaks..
They've defined us, not the other way round..!
