Ballyhoura Spook 31st October

There's a thread up on mbcc about this, thought i'd post it here incase anyone had interest;

Ballyhoura Spook, Mountain Bike Stage Race

Stage One:
1pm, 30 km - Crowed start followed by a tough cross country trail stage

Stage Two:
7pm, 10 km - Night Time Trial. Start at 30 second intervals and race through the Ballyhoura Forest Single Track Trails.

** Night Riding Lights & Equipment are essential to enter the Ballyhoura Spook. Riders may also just enter the day stage only but the winner will be the fastest over both stages. Entry Fee 30 Euro.

This sounds like the craic, Day cycle followed by a nite cycle followed very closely by drinking your head off in some muck savage pub!!!

That sounds like a plan!

It does sound like it could be good craic alright, I'd be interested in heading down. Could do some longer route on the Sunday before heading home as well!!

I foresee carnage, do it lads, I can't wait to hear the report!

I'd be on for it but October is a busy month ! I'll have to see .

ok so who is going down for the night ? and we'll organise to stay somewhere !!

I know that their was a deal goin in a hotel in Charlville €99 per room including dinner and breakfast sounds a bit cheesy though!!!! Hahahaha I kill me. But really there was a deal!!!

Ha ha. Aren't there self catering houses in Ballyhoura or something??
