The overall DH league results are up on Irish DH. This Sunday is the final round. The NPS will be your best 7 results, prises, which are nice and shinny, will go to top five. Loads of epicureans either currently sitting in the top 5 or not too far off it:
Juniors: Greg has it won. Gav is currently in 5th but has some competition for it though.
Seniors: Ed and Adam are 1st and 2nd, Al is in 8th a good day in Whitehorse could get him into the top five.
Vets: Joe is sitting in 5th.
Ladies: Nat is in a comfortable 3rd, 2nd is a possibility. Silvia is in 4th with Orla in 5th.
Under 14: Sean Green is lying is 7th a good result could see him move up.
Masters: Iâm in 6th, two feckin points off a prise, Iâll just have to floor it.
Hope to see a good turn out from the club, both racing for glory and supporting.
Hadn't realise we had so many people doing so well in the overall, well done everyone! Ed has the seniors won already aswell, savage to get the one two uniflu in seniors, let's see how it goes next year in elites for the three of us, and Bummins if he bothers his arse.

Yeah go on the epicureans great to see so many up there. Ed has seniors wrapped up, I should hold on to 2nd unless I don't finish and bobby gets a podium. Hopefully epic will have a good weekend and move a few more up. Oh bring on the last round. nevermind all these podiums and top 5 finishes the real fight is going to be between me and Ken Murphy. There's one point separating us in the league and I'm looking for blood whether its mine or his :)
Jesus Gav....you have to get him. Can you imagine the pics of Ken off this big huck? He'd be passed vertical with that much air time! My god...and the damage Gav could do to a helmet from that high up....ooooohhh!! She's gonna be a savage race....I can;t wait! I'm visualising my run as we speak...I made up a track in my head, its pretty good.
Deadly race today on what was I thought a deadly track other people thought a bit dangerous and mad. Plenty of injuries to prove me wrong and them right. It was tough as hell and any mistakes you made were punnished.
Some really fast epicurians some got the glory others were flyin and having the craic. Greg took another win in juniors, Adam got 1st in seniors with Conor Duffy in 3rd. Bren took the win in Vets and Nat stepped it up to take the win over Maebh.
Fair play to Tom Power for running a great race and for racing with a broken arm which he got on thursday night, cut his cast off last night and did his race run.
That was some weekend of biking as Al said there was plenty of things to kill you on the track but somehow I managed to survive. Lots of people flying this weekend. Bren did an amazing job with a great time to win the vets, nat wins the ladies, greg in the juniors, I won seniors , Ronan got third in sports what a show from epic, well done everyone that came down what a end to a great season. Hopefully we'll see lots of you in Cavan next weekend to celebrate in style.
As someone who just goes around all the mental stuff, that was a brilliant track. Probably would've been utter cack in the wet, but it wasn't wet, it was dry and sweet.
Funny but I never noticed that orange netting all weekend. Probably too busy focusing on making sure a pissed marshal didn't step in my way.
That was an amazing weekend. for me the riders of the weekend have to be Bren and Nat. Anytime I saw the 2 of them I thought to myself "I wish I was that quick through that section". Blooming pinned they were!
For me the highlight was not crashing, getting away with stuff and a half decent time. Such a shame its the end of the season :(
For anyone interested I'll be keeping the DH spins going throughout the winter but only on the weekends. I'll post up when the next ones happening.
