Luke breaks another bike...

Is the motor dead?

Noooo, the flying brick hits the **** house...how sad.

Motor running smooth as ever but no drive, there's a splined shaft between the clutch and gear box that may have given up the ghost. Big enough job even to have a look - especially when you live in an apartment!
Sad day for the flying brick indeed!

Maybe Mrs Smithers will shed some light on it..

let me have a think....taking some time off next week so might get a chance to strip her and see whats what.. Maybe Mrs Smithers could offer me some workshop space...

I'll offer you some space. I'm normally here mon/tue/wed. even if I'm not here, you're welcome to work on it here. I'll even collect it from you in my van, and let you use my tools.

Technically it's more of a hanger than a shed.

That all depends on where you live, anything that big near me would now be apartments, possibly half finished apartments..

Hey Luke, a friend of mine has a BMW trans-alp type bike thats having trouble with the drive too, says that if he gives it full throttle in first or second he gets a clunk and the drive slips, is it something the same?
He has his stripped now but can't see the problem so he's got a guy coming to look at it, i'll find out tomorrow if he's got anywhere and let you know, might be some sort of help to you.
