rubber this winter???

after my (sh@it) contis vertical failing miserably up in inerleithin scotland a couple of week ends ago resulting in a couple of nasty offs, they are now going to the bin. or on the other halfs bike (she only rides when it's dry).
i m thinking of minions 2.35f front and rear single ply. any one tried this combo??
the 2.5 f and r double ply minions on my dh bike are superb but are like a tracktor to peddal.

minions are a dry weather hard pack tire. Possibbly one of the worst tires for the winter. they will clog with mud

I'm using a bald Ignitor this winter, to hell with the Swampthings! Beside they have spotted Tuna in Doonbeg and a three legged cat in Ballybrit, all sure signs of a dry winter.

if she only rides when its dry you want your rubber well lubricated !!

don't mention tyres or the bad men will be around.
