So the wedding money can't be spent on bikes or fancy make-up, so it has to be a compromise - and it's a telly
Looking to get a flat screen 32" or bit bigger (do they do 36"/38"?)
Plasma or LCD - don't really care - just want a nice sharp image
Don't need inbuilt DVD player or powerful speakers etc..
Any ideas on models/places to get them?
What fancy tellys do ye pimps have hanging in your walk-in wardrobes/sheds?
40" samsung LCD, series six is what I have, I think there on series 7 or 8 now though. Really clear sharp image and the colours are really good. I wouldn't get anything other than samsung.
Id say Sony ATM because of the 3 year Guarantee and trade in Deals.
if your looking for a 32" you should be able to get the 32w5500 100hrz with full HD etc ETC ETC for e840 with trade in
there's a cheaper model the 32V5500 for e740 as well, great set but dosent have the 100hrz and is losing a few other small features as well.
should get the 37" version for e999ish as well.
also make sure whatever TV you have has a MPEG4 tuner for RTE digital. a lot say digital ready but it only applies to the UK you wont get a picture here with em (different system)
oh i can get ya a 46panasonic Plasma for 999 if ya want.
(I work in a Electrical shop and should know these things, only catch is it's in West Cork)

Don't forget, you have to get a Bluray player, even upscaled non Bluray disks look the shizzle, then connect it though your stereo speakers, then pop on Predator and it's happy days.
There are loads of good ones to choose from, and I would say Richer Sounds do have some awesome deals.
The only thing I would add is if you are into sports and watch a lot of footy or racing on telly, defo go plasma... LCD still suffers from jitter movement on that kinda stuff.

Not really to keep the business within the mtb community, which is a nice idea in principle but a lot of ould ****e in reality; no the real reason is that you can be seen to treat the new missus to a romatic weekend in W Cork but bring your bike as well and sample the delights of Clashnacrona. You'd love the Middle Ground especially. And I'm reliably told the best chips in the country are to be had down there (from the van in Ballingeary). And a pint of the ol' black stuff in Ross's in Durrus is hard to beat. Now, who wanted the nonsense back?
