EPIC cleaned up at the awards tonight..
most of all we won Event of the year 2009..
Voted for by Cycling Ireland members...
This is a big deal for us, its in recognition of the hard work put in by a very small group of members.
I am very proud of all the members who turned up, somebody remarked was it an EPIC event.
Mind you it seemed to be mainly Dh members..fair play.
There was only me, luke and Damo from the XC side of things.
I'm delighted beyond measure that EPIC won this, its been a long time coming. Its a pity more of you weren't there to enjoy the moment, especially all the people who helped make the Blast the best event of 2009..anyway I was delighted, mof the old crusties of Cycling Ireland shook my hand and said well done,
The NPS trophies are fantastic, but its about time Cycling Ireland stopped giving out GAA style medals !!

But the fact that it was taken by an epic member, of a feckin epic member, nominated by a feckin epic member, and an epic member was on the commission......
Well done anyway guys, all who won well deserved it....
If your coming up naked, cover your white arse. I'ts open season at the moment. Ness was a bit disturbed yesterday when my next door neighbour was crossing the road with a deerhead under his arm, as you do... He just waved, acting normal.
