I was over the waters in the States and had a look in a few cycle stores, massive selection on display, Santa cruz, Specialized, Cannondles, Marin all over the place. Test whatever you like. 29ers all over the place, no one was trying to convince me to buy one though.
Wanted to mention the prices over there, I was looking at some of the Giant xtc's. The xtc composite was working out around â¬1700 and the airline was not charging anything to bring it home. The xtc alliance - alloy\composite cross was less than a grand. These were 2009 bikes, the composite 2010 specialized hardtail, which looked class was around 1700 also.
How does the xtc composite compare to Irish prices. Have I missed out on a great deal?
