MTB in Sligo

Any mountainbiking in Sligo folks..a friend of mine from the free climbing nonsense is heading up there with some other aging hippies for the weekend and like all sensible Irish climbers has turned to the real outdoor activity. There used to be a bit of a scene there..any ideas , Handlebars Mcgann if you're reading this let me know!

Union Wood is fecked but across the road on the other side is an XC loop and the beginnings of a DH track. I haven't ridden either but I'm told the XC loop is ok.
There's Koncknarae (don't think I've spelled right) but this is DH too. Give banana man a shout he'll know what's around there.
