On Saturday, I went up to the test day in Ballinastoe. I wanted to try out an Anthem X but in the melee there was very little left. There on the rack was a Giant 29er trying to look sleek and neat. With trepidation I took it and and did a lap. I have to admit, I was impressed with the way it rolled along. I know Ballinastoe is not a challenge, and you can do it on a crossbike. But, if given the chance, I would love to bring one to Djouce to see how it would handle the trails there.
