It would make sense for anyone who encounters this issue to drop a mail to : info@dublinmountains.ie(DMP website) to advise them of your immediate safety concerns with this issue.

the funny thing is, i'd say that wrecks the walkers heads as well..!
How come nobody has ever seen this guy? or have they, if hes lugging around rocks like that he must be some savage!

On a serious note, if we could get video of this act of destruction being done there would be good grounds for some sort of legal proceedings i would think ? Prob very hard to get but we all Carrie phones which can take video and i am sure some of us will come across the culprits at some stage if they are being very active again.. only a thought Fergal
What gets me also is that if he/they/she has seen some of the stuff we actually ride down/across/up in 3 rock then they would probably realise that those few rocks wouldn't cause us any problems at all, granted if they were on blind corner it's a different story but you get what i'm trying to say, they are just making themselfs look silly and wasting energy.

The fact that we werent meant to be up there in the first place would rule that out, wouldn't it?
It's amazing that somebody would so up their own arse that they'd go to the trouble of putting boulders on a trail with the purpose to inflict injury. They are strategically put in places so that you can't slow down or avoid them.
What gets me also is that if he/they/she has seen some of the stuff we actually ride down/across/up in 3 rock then they would probably realise that those few rocks wouldn't cause us any problems at all, granted if they were on blind corner it's a different story but you get what i'm trying to say, they are just making themselfs look silly and wasting energy.
Thought that as well, most of the stuff you would just ride over, but there are one or two of these traps that would cause damage to your bike.
I don't think there's any way one guy would be able to move some of those rocks - I think that it has to be at least two people! It must be happening mid-week during the day and my guess is that it's some of the local "LuLa's" from around Ticknock/Barnaculla - some very odd people in that neck of the woods!!!
I think Als right, i think theres a couple of them and they're locals..and I wonder are they doing it because of MXers rather than MTBers..
I would go the route Fergal has suggested by the way, it doesn't matter whether we are allowed up there or not..thats Criminal behaviour..
I wonder as well would you get a thump off one of them if you caught them..i'd be inclined to get my retaliation in first if I came across them!
