I hear on the grapevine that some people have taken exception to the tone of some of the posts on the forum. People who are new to the forum need to understand this is not like most forums, moderators donât exist as such and people can pretty much say and do as they please. This is because most us know each other and know that anything that is said is pretty much just tongue-in-cheek slagging and nonsense. To a new comer all this can seem a bit intimidating, and I have no doubt that some have been scared off by it. What the new comers may not realise is that if you were to meet some of these scary online dudes you would find them among the nicest, most helpful of all people, you would not recognise them from their online personas. Thatâs just the way some people roll here.
Having said that it does no harm for some of the more colourful posters to ease up a bit on new posters, and at the same time the new comers to take everything they read with a pinch of salt. If you do have a problem with what someone has said, PM them and resolve it among yourselves, knowing that if you met in person, you would no doubt get on fine.
This forum will always polarise opinion to some extent, and I hope it always does, but come on the spins, meet the people, and you will find nothing but goodwill and encouragement.
Right Don who did you piss off recently or was it the poor bloke who cleared the bike rack out of tyres and still slid around in the mud after your advise.
See what I mean? I've gone toe to toe with Damo off Camaderry (momentarily), I'm a Goober DH King, 2008 Blast King of the Goobers, won a Blast heat and still I get no respect, barely a day goes by where Byrner doesn't call me a loser or imagines me naked!
Post here first time no more then 3 months ago and got abused.. and now you are asking to take easy..
Can't go in the Spins.. im a North side person, with out a car.. and the Blood Dart don't let me get my bike on..
Anyway someone going for some Spin from Sutton that could give me lift?
This is the Cool thing about Epic, it's easy going and you can tell (with you go trough some thread) that everyone knows each other and why that there is a lot of kind replies..
