Hi,

I was looking for an irish mtb forum and stumbled onto the site.

From having a quick browse just there i take that most of yee are based in Dublin?

Basically in my "younger" days i was big into bikes but havint been out on one untill i went back to collage in September.

Im from Galway myself not sure if there are many members on here from this side of the country,

Anyway, any advise for newbie? the only club ive found here in Galway is westcostwheelers but they tend to do more road spins as far as i can gather.

Just trying to get back into the swing of things again.

All of us are based on the East Coast more or less..
Darren mcgann is in Westcoast Wheelers, I doubt hes a roadie..I'm pretty sure they have a very strong MTB Section going , they usually run the Connacht league..they are involved with a bike shop where you could get info ..fecked if I can remember it ! you might try contacting them through their website
