EPICmtb Beginner spin Sat 23rd Jan 10am Djouce woods

Ok people, a little late but as promised, this is the first beginners spin of the new year, so get yourself down to Djouce woods for this one with all your new gear you got for Xmas, 10am, it will be a cracker (weather pending that is)
Everyone's welcome.

You will need a Helmet (not a full face if you can help it)
2 Tubes
a minipump
1 Multitool
power links
gels, bananas, multigrain bars, power bars or whatever you are happy with fuelling up for the trails.
Water or go juice..
you can wear body armour if you want (but not needed, it's too heavey and hot)
Full finger MX style gloves ( not ski gloves)
Bring a rain Jacket if you have one to be safe
Thats it..
Oh yeah and a bike thats in good working order (most important that one, don't want to spend most of the morning repairing peoples bikes).
If you have any questions don't be afraid to ask, either on here or you can PM me.
Hope to see you there.

Gary.
Come on now folks. You'll have the craic and maybe learn something and remember, this is a beginner spin, so unless you're a hopeless case like The Culchie, don't be seen on it.
We'll have none of this experienced riders sneaking on to it, thinking of having a handy day and upping the beginner pace.
Garys the man, he has the Experience and the REC training, so you will be in good hands.
Richie
Probably a stupid question but since the new sram and shimano arent cross compatible can you use a sram 9spd link for shimano?
