I'm looking to buy a bike for the season as soon as I can. I used a really gorgeous bike on my first session before Christmas. Not sure if it is still for sale..does anyone know?
Preferably second hand, needs to fit 5 ft. 11 inch me! The sooner I get sorted out the sooner I can get cracking on these sessions I'm misisng!
I just noticed that all the stuff Gerry sells never seems to have a picture of what he's selling with all it's tiny scratches, rub/wear marks etc.
It always seems to be a picture or a link to a picture of a new one with no marks, I find this misleading as you can't really see what you're getting.
Don if you want to go back to using tools then you should return my rock collection, and how come I didn't see you out on any of those christmas spins when I was back ?
At least Richard L was out there giving it a go not worrying about his tyre choice/pressure ratio and whether he would look better in lycra or baggies
Mark there is a beginners spin on this weekend. The best thing to do is turn up. These spins are exactly as they say on the tin and Gazpw has designed them with people like you in mind.
Arklow.... Don''t know of any offhand. there is a loop in Courtown in behind Coral Leisure, but it is hard on the bike (sandy & salty).
As Oz says, b'stoe is the best spot to build up a level of fitness/ability. especially if you ride alone, as someone will find you quickly if you have a problem.
