Enniscorthy flooded

Hey lads, if you are heading down for the DH tomorrow you might want to give yourselves an extra 20mins for the journey, Enniscorthy is flooded and they have a detour around the town. The traffic was unreal.

anyone heading down there via the n80 through Bunclody might need to take a detour aswell as the Slaney has burst its banks on the Enniscorthy road

I can't even get 300mt down my road. don't know if I'm going to make it. place is in a jock here. floodwater flowing down the mountain and across my drive all night. here's some picts.

for those who know laragh, bookey bridge...underwater, clara lara...underwater, clara church...underwater, meetings of the water...underwater, etc..etc...etc

Yeah it's all up into the meat factory aswell, i had to turn back and detour that too, took me feckin ages to get home.

I lived there at clara for a few years and saw some mad stuff bur never saw a tree try to take out the bridge!
Rathdrum looks a mess.
Having said that we then lived up in Glenbride for some years after that and while we'd be snowed in for a fortnight folks in Rathdrum would be sowing there early spuds.
Nice and sunny and warm in Kenmare today !;D
