Great craic ...savage deadly track..great organization..some slagging going round..well done to all the EPIC members..great results as far as I know !!

Yea have to say it was a great event, the track was really nice, the whole thing was well run. Defo an ideal track for beginners to DH, nothing too savage on it but the odd tricky section. Have to say I really enjoyed the whole day and it's made me want to do a few more DH events. Great to see so many Epic jerseys around as well, the new ones looked the part. Roll on Cloon!!!
Yep have to agree with everything you said there John, realy good weekend and some great results all round, especialy Karl, Bren, Silvia and Sean, brilliant results, can't wait to get the big bike for Cloon.
Savage cabbage, as usual everyone was flat to the mat today, bit strange riding a bike since it had been 3 months since my last outing but it was well worth the wait, having el presidente and cummins heclking on the sidelines was a massive distraction but hiiiilarious, cant wait till cloon now hopefully have a better result on home turf
Results will probably up on IrishDh over the next couple of days. Plenty of podiums with Epic jerseys on anyway. Great track to get back into it.
The Happy fairy and Mark T did really well with savage times putting them second and third in masters. Slivia won ladies well. The Captain took top spot by 5 seconds in superVets and I was well beaten into second in vets by some pony tailed bangor :-)
Great showing overall by the club with some excellent riding. Especially a couple of first timers like Gary and Brian. Damo and Alfie proved that good riders could be just as fast on trail bikes putting a lot of lads on big rigs to shame. Ronan wasn't far off the podium in sports either.
Adam and Greg were in with the fast lads in elites and i reckon when they get a feel for their new bikes they'll push up through the bunch.
Looking forward to the new season now. It's off with a bang.
I would just like to make it clear that I was handed a bike an hour before my race run and crashd twice in both my runs....just so you know. it's not an excuse, it's reason for doing badly!
Savage weekend though, was a bit annoying the way the mud went so sticky today but ohh well. Can't wait for the season to properly start, time to get going on the proper training and give er loads, screw the leaving cert!
The day was capped off nicely by sitting in a ambulance with Rob Davis who couldn't talk with the amount of pain he was in (This is Rob Davis remember) and then walking around a hospital in my race kit carrying mud all over the place, great craic. Anyway, Rob's spine is grand and they reckon its muscle damage so you can all go to sleep now.
i didn't see it but it must have been bad to put him in the state he was in. It was pretty scary to see him in the state he was in in the back of the ambulance!
Seeing as we're talking about reasons for not doing well, I was thinking the bike felt a bit strange on my second run, got to the finish and reslised some kind person had turned the travel adjust knob on my forks and changed the travel from 160 down to 100mm!! Nice...
