National Marathon Champs Info

Sunday the 24th of August 10:00a.m. sees IMBRC host the Irish National MTB Marathon Champs held in the Dublin and Wicklow Mountains. The 60k course over two laps spans two counties, three mountains and four forests. On your journey you can take in magnificent views of Glendoo, Corrig and Seahan. Start/Finish is in Kippure House Estate. Balinascorny, Athdown and Cloghleagh also feature in this epic course.

Entry to the event will be €25.

ok boys and girls, make sure you go to this one.its only up the road ( sorta ) lets have EPIC out in force..

seriously though, if theres anybody out there who would care to volunteer to help out IMBRC it would be a big help to them in running an amazing event..they have secured an incredible venue for the start/finish area..well done boys

Yeah just to reiterate what richie said.

We would greatly appreciate ANY help people can give us. If we could get some additional marshalls, even for a few hours, it would really help us.

We hope to pair the marshalls so there will be at least one other person with you.

Just to add to Gars post. If you want to pre ride the course during the week there is also a Garmin Edge Course file and a google KML file for uploading to your GPS. The course will be extremely well marked. Weather is looking good, It's going to be a classic

a big turnout from EPIC will be great..lets support The IMBRC here..its in a whole new venue and the possiblities in the area are great.
The course looks suitably tough, theres at least one deadly descent and one savage climb..
and I believe JimBob when he says it will be well marked..
