We normally, heckle and abuse them to the point of humiliation. To be fair though, epic has very few sandbaggers. Most have the desire to move up. Masters this year will be full of them.....

The top 3 from Sports at Cloon had some pretty serious times alright...
Bangers/sandbaggers were dealt with pretty effectively in XC NPS last year by removing Sports from the eligibility for an overall medal/title (but Sports riders could still see from the overall points table as to where they finished etc...)
Something similar could possibly be done for DH NPS - I'm not sure about the Winter League though - is there an overall title/medal for Winter League Sports contenders?
Just change the name from Sports to Gay...
Nobody will be bragging in work about winning the "Gay category", would they?
unless they were gay, of course. then they would be happy.
And because of the way downhill works the "bangers" get a double whammy ...... "Oh I won Sports but my time would have put me 5th in Masters!" or whatever!
But as I've said before (and before, and before...) I don't think it's fair to punish the genuine Sports rider by taking away their championship - the Bangers should be made ride in their correct catagory or if they insist in riding in Sports they shouldn't be awarded prizes!
I blame the Commission..they should anticipate these problems and deal with them under article 69 of The Rules..
This is just another example , along with the use of live timing and hi-viz vests of the incompetence of the Commission!!

The fast guy in sports did a 1.25, I think on his 1st timed run, which is a very good time and lashed everyone else's time out of it!!! Whats the point in that, he 's not even racing anybody cause he is so much faster!!! As I also said before top five finishers overall at the end of the year in sports should be automatically moved up or they dont get points the following year.
They are only in sports to try and make themselves look good, probably didn't get enough hugs of there mummy when they were younger.
People who are genuine sports riders would be having a great battle up the front if it wasn't for these guys, it's kinda off putting for them when they see that they are getting beaten by 15/20 seconds.
