I know Licence questions bore everybody to tears but I assume that if you've applied to CI for a 2010 licence that will be sufficient for Sundays race even if they haven't arrived by then?

Hmm ... gave up on the "On-line" thing and sent a hard copy + cheque a couple of weeks ago!
I went into Cycling Ireland lastweek to drop in forms / payment etc.
The licence has been approved and I got an email today saying it would be two weeks until I get it.

well, just 2 mins ago I've requested an official status from the President and Exec Officer of CI (on behalf of the Offroad community) as to what the situation is with the licences.
There's an awful lot of confused frustrated riders & race organisers out there trying to apply and pay for their licences, including myself (and I thought I was somehow special...)

how did it work in Moneyscalp yesterday?
When I pre registered you leave the licence area as day licence and then near the bottom of the online registration form there is a box to tick that the 2010 licence has been applied for.
On the printed out sign on sheets that the crc guys had it then had 2010 licence applied for beside my name.
Apparently the licences will not be issued until the yearbook is launched. The yearbook is being launched this Sunday the 21st in the Bewleys Airport Hotel, it then says on the flyer I have that cycling Ireland yearbooks and club licence packs will be distributed between 4.30 pm and 5pm, does this mean all licences for one club wll be given out in one go to a representative who turns up?
