XC Development racing: SPORT A results

Nice one Fergal. Interesting to see the splits. I'll need to start closer to the front next time. Happy with 12th though.

I have a mystery set of results in the non-SPORT A race for #23 - who was actually registered as Nathan Carr in Under 10s.

I don't want to delete the results unless for whatever reason, some non-Under 10 ended up with # 23 plate - anyone know where this result may have come from?

I was number 176, says I didn't finish on this, don't know when I finished but I defo made it to the end.

We had some riders zip past us with muddy plates so missed a few numbers

No hassle sure, I know I wasn't first or anything...did finish though (...I hope)...last lap felt slow but I didn't have a load of people pass me either, was pretty much on my own that whole lap...but I was glad Richie didn't tell me there was another lap to do when I said "is that it" as I got to the tent. (he said "ye look gorgeous"...I didn't feel that good and felt like my eyes were about to bleed but I'm sure that was it....I'm sure I counted three, no definitely did three, remember passing my kids at the end of the first and second lap, they didn't hang around for the end of the third.....either way don't worry about it, I was only there to take part and get an introduction the whole racing thing.

That was Nate, he raced in the B.....
Curious to know his splits.... 2020 olympics are around the corner, and I feel he needs to get the finger out.

I placed 6th in B...... I think that has to be an error!

I was doing ok on lap 1 until I got a puncture. It took a few minutes to fix but by the third lap I was totally wrecked and crawling around and I got lapped by a few riders.

I would have been happy with 6th last!

That was some result for Hughie (10th) - he's only been mtbing for about 3 months! Another ex-Enduro rider! And Kellyer had a first lap flyer - as we were heading up the fire road I could see him in the distance going into the single track out in front - every lap he came back towards me a little bit .... but not enough .... not enough!! Fair dues Dave (says he between gritted teeth!!).

thanks Barry - honest man!

I had 4 results for you instead of 3
one of them had a 9:50min lap 2 time, the other had a 22:46min lap 2 time
On average, Sport B lap 2 time was down about 4 mins on the lap 1 time for the 2nd section of the pack.
I guess if you punctured and it took 5 mins or so to fix - the lap 2 time was the correct one
You had a strong lap 1 time though, next time hopefully stay puncture-free and see how you fare
