CI cats & MTB'rs

Does anyone know what the story is with the new cats?

According to the category descriptions I am a Full Competition A4 (because I have amassed no points as a roadie) and this means Id have to enter A4 road events which according to the calendar are around 50 km long. Is it possible to enter longer races with an A4 license? or can you register as a Full Comp A3?

Oz you can up grade your license to A3 without any points online but you can't down grade without wirting in to CI and telling why you want to down grade. So if you happy with A3 racing get a A3 licence but you wont be able to do any A4 races.
