Earls Drive in Djouce

Well, thanks to Smithers, Micky and Hughie for there help today clearing the fallen trees on the Earls drive, its all rideable now, we left a couple of logs in to make it more interesting to ride, we'll build some small ramps over them for the weak, but at least you won't have to drag your bike up the side of the bank to get round it.
There was some mount of tree down on the last section but we thought them a lesson in manners !
Keeping trails open and rideable is not my preferred pastime but if everybody made some effort, we wouldn't lose these trails back to Nature.

Great work guys - that was a right pain the last time we were up there! Smithers didn't try to do a "Paul O'Connell" on Hughie did he Richie?

it never ceases to amaze me to see what people will just give up on rather than go out and fix. I absolutely hate walking, especially carrying tools, I hate digging, in fact I hate doing anything other than Mountainbiking when I go up to Djouce or anywhere else I could be riding, but I'm fooked if I'm going to let a few trees lying cross the trail spoil my fun!
