Killarney DH NPS #2

So this weekend brings the 2nd round of the downhill NPS which is being held down in Killarney. Now I know it's a good trip down but don't be put off by it the lads always put in a massive effort and a good show with some money prizes on offer to spice things up. Parking is tight down there but I hope to get down Friday so I should be able to get some pit area set up. So hope to see you all down there.

Yeah, this is always one of the races I look forward too, the course is savage, some really cool sections. The big wooden berm and the rock / concrete slabs of doom are just deadly.

Will be heading down Friday, but not sure what time I will getting in. Actually if anyone is heading down in a Van and has some space for some tents let me know, you would be doing me and the race organiser a favour. I normally just bring em myself, but the wife is coming, so I’ll never get all her **** and all my **** into the focus. Its just a downward trip, they won’t be coming back.

Yeah it's true between one thing or another I've never raced down here, just head to Killarney via Limerick and then a bit more on from there you should be close enough by then.

Who else is heading down on friday that knows where they are going? there must be someone we can follow surley.

I'm going down Friday. Probably via Cork, South Ring, N22 all the way to Killarney.

And don't call me Shirley.

Think of maths equations, and should you be doing that at work?

if you're talking about what I think your talking about then you're ****ed..i was never any good at maths..I am fighting the temptation to change Basils name to Shirley..maybe i'll just change your name to Muriel or Bernadette ..

Ok cool, Al and Alan what time are you heading down at roughly?

Jasus, head to feckin Michelstown, then go cross country to Killarney, a few miles before Kilarney there is a turn which gets you right to it, its a hard turn to get, its a left, you;ll be grand.

If you go into AA route guide and last in Dublin to Kilgarvan, Kerry it will give you the exact best route. The race sight is a large forest enterence on your left about 2 miles before you get to the village.
