Just heard that Gerry Ryan has died in his appartment this morning. I used to listen to him and then Dave Fanning back in the day when they had the night slots. Sad news.

Feck he's only 53. I'll miss him winding up the aul wans on a weekday morning.
Yeah, he got on my nerves some times but I listened to him everyday in work, mainly for the guests he would have on, he even had Victor on one day talking about Hans Rey and Steve Peat riding along the Cliffs of Moher, you get used to these characters and bang they are gone !
