Ive been mtb in ballinastoe for last 2 months and its serious craic, Bought my own bike recently and want to have a good spares kit as its hard on bikes and bodys up there, also wat size tyres would you rec as go for fun but want to go faster currently 2.35 on back and 2.1 on the front.
Swap your tyres around for starters. 2.35 on the front. When they've worn out buy new one's.
Richie has a list of stuff up on the bigineers spin thread. But a couple of power links and a couple of tubes along with a spare hanger and of course a decent multitool and pump should do the job.
Couple of cable ties and the ability to be creative just in case.

dont worry about mixing tire sizes aslong as your front tire is bigger than the back one. If its the opposite way round it handles horribly. Big tire on the front helps get over rocks etc. Smaller tires roll faster so by mixing them it gets the best of both worlds. Plenty of confidence from a big tire on the front and the smaller one on the back helps keep the drag to a minimum
i agree have been mixing and matching and al is right much better control i was the same with big on the back for "grip" but its so much better the other way around
