I have arranged for an award winning Movie maker ( I kid you not) to make a movie of The Blast. However to make it really amazing, can anybody who might be taking video footage or helmet cam footage let me know, and we can use it in The Movie..we have organised about 6 proper cameras and equipment.

I'll have a head-cam (mounted looking backwards at all the gimps trying to catch me) with enough space to film the 2 heats and main Blast no probs - no sound but sure all you'll hear is screams and clicketty freewheel anyway...

we didnt actually get any awards yet!! but were are showing it at international festivals so hopefully there is one coming. And I think RTE are going to air it next year.

El Presedente would like to remind viewers that 115% of his Recommendations are accurate at time of print - ( term and conditions apply maybe off by 15% - but no sneaky one's)
If there is a soundtrack, can we please avoid any of that heavy metal sheet, its been done to death, lets have something inspirational, rousing and EPIC, something by Ennio Morricone maybe, c'mon, surprise us.

Ehh.. can we have some sound please.... the bike noise is tres importante and the screams of death and pain, in fact the natural noise of the blast is better than any music....
In fact I'd say if you asked the minister nicely he's get the entire field to scream extra loud especially for the camera then you could use that audio with some creapy establishing shots to make is sound like the armies of Mordor are about to burst forth and chop our f*ckin heads off....
