The Zero Gravity MTB Club headed down to the fantastic trails around Ballyhoura over the weekend. This was our second time to travel down this year. The last time we went down was around New Years. Sadly we stayed in the Ballyhoura Country View house, the guy that owned the place (Michael) tried to rip us off with stupid charges for heating and electricity. Plus he was there the whole time watching TV, he even managed to walk in on Eamonn Lawlor while he was taking a shower. For those of you that know Eamonn (John Lawlors father) you’ll be aware that you never need to see something like that. No wonder that’s why he wanted the extra cash, to pay for the psychologists bills.
Anyway this time we stay in the Ballyhoura Forest Holiday Homes. This place is savage, it would sleep 7 people easily for around 200 notes per night and has everythin you need. He does charge for the electricity but nothing stupid. Can’t recommend this place enough, the trails down there are awesome, and the houses are about a ten minute ride from the trails.
