Hi guys, im looking for some advice and though u boys might be able to help.
im off to the US in a few weeks and figured i would load up on goodies.
some winter cloths and a few parts i need for both roady and mtb ... like a new wheelset. Can anyone suggest some good websites to check out???

then NY then road tripping down to Miami though Tennessee, new orleans etc ...

Try the cycle habitat in New york http://bicyclehabitat.com/. It's a proper bike shop in Soho right in the city. Right beside the tube stop (On green line). If you want something specific ring them before and they will get it for you, I got a bike for my daughter and shoe etc saved a fortune. Specialized Giant Trek dealer. Their web site is good.
the us will start becomming dearer for non us made bike parts. As the stocks in the shops that where purchased from the far east when the dollar was strong disapear off the shelves and are replaced with parts bought with a weak dollar. The bubble of cheap bike stuff will pass through and you will see prices in the us become less competitive. Enjoy it while it lasts. However anything entireley us made should remain cheap.
