1/2 WW bike?

I'm doing half the Wicklow Way tomorrow starting from Cruagh Wood. What bike would people recommend as I've never done it and dont know the terrain (HT or big bike). I am fit. Any advice appreciated.

Hardtail is fine - there are only a few bits that would be better on a big bike and with all the climb/distance, you would be cursing it.
