Another trail makes 'the list'

Derrybawn Ridge from Mulacor toward Glendo with the wind at you back, what a flowtasticly amazing trail, like a roller coaster with all the whoopdi doops. Then the insane rocky gully on the left all the way down to the last fireroad, sweet mother of calamity, don't go near it unless you are very good, brave or drunk, better still all three.

Got to size up Lug from Mullacor, it all looked very inviting, holy sheet those switchbacks at the end look unreal.

Derrybawn Ridge is a superb trail, no doubt. One for the dry though, as with most of the open mountain ones. And best not in big groups on Sundays with the walkers.

And yeah, the switchbacks are class, like a cross between the miners' trail switchbacks and the grassy descent off Camaderry, flat out, brakes have worryingly little effect at times, brilliant. But they are easy compared to what comes before!
