If any one is interested in submitting helmet cam footage for a small flic being made on the race can you do a few things.
1. if submiting footage can you put your race number on the tape/file that your giving. also a contact name and the heat's your in would be great.
2.nd if you can try avoid wearing black. not essential but it would make it that bit easier to identify you and it would be nice to hook up the footage with the other cameras on the course.
ill be at the race so ask richie to point me out and say hello. looking forward to no rain, havin a good laugh trying to pedal those uphill bits....great craic!!
balls, forgot about downloading the footage. I've stuck a quick vid up, if you guys want the original footage just let me know and I can get it onto a server for you to download. I only got about 10mins footage from my quali heat, was too wet after then.
i've clips from marshalling if you guys want them. the jump at heavens gate and als jumps. Some of them might be of use. THere's 16 or 17 minutes worth.
Ken, I'll pay you good money not to show me making a shambles of that jump! Every time I was either crashing, or out of control, or sliding, which was most of the time, there seemed to be a photographer capturing the moment.
great lads. would love to have it all. this will be a great flic judging by the stuff i saw today. Ill hopefully have a teaser done in a few days then after that ill work on the full length. we have arround 15 or more hours of footage on the large cameras so to use a pun, this will be EPIC.

PS.. do you have one of those 'bleep' machine things so you can bleep out all the swearing I was doing on my 2nd run... just in case my mother is watching..!! :D
Where you bleeping at your own riding or other riders Gerry? I remember shouting ungodly things to a rider holding me and another bloke up on the last singletrack, I was shocked at myself, and I couldn't utter what some goober on DH rig said when I sailed by him on the last fireroad climb, something along the lines of C U Next Tuesday...

No really, I was held up something fierce on my 2nd run... also I really let rip at Tim as he kept slowing down for all the jumps... he slowed down so much at the Heaven's Gate jump that I had to go round for fear of going over the bars... I'm ashamed to admit I called him all kinds of things in the heat of the moment but he was way off in the distance and probably didn't hear a thing...!
I apologised afterwards though... but again... sorry Tim...!!
