Richie guided a few of us around the course today and all I can say is it is bloody amazing. It has everything and the amount of work that has been done is phenomenal. It defies logic as you seem to spend most of your time bating down stuff or eating up flowing singletrack. There are a few climbs, but no deal breakers and there really is something for everyone. DH merchants will love it, technical riders will do well, and everyone who finishes will do so will big grins on their faces. I pretty much hate racing but this had me aching to take part. This one is going to become folklore and is really not to be missed.
XC Nationals course review
Have to agree there Donatello, its fantestical, can't wait to race it and then blow meself up with 20 large bottles of bulmers, I've been known to drink a case of LB's but this time I'm goin all out feck the expense hahaha!!
tomorrow after I finish tweaking the Course I wil put up a headcam and a preview..stay tuned..!
rode the course this morning, and I must say its great, techie, and tough for fat lads like myself but should make for great racing, well done and good luck for the weekend, hope the weather holds.

The course is deadly.... Its starting to dry out nicely with plenty of grip,but youve got to keep the eyes peeled for little roots and rocks here and there that could leave you on your ear very quickly!!

I was too lazy to venture out to the race course but I took a few snaps at the sign on...
had a spin around the course and its a super lap a few really technical sections but really great it will be some fun in the races 60+ in sports 50 odd in masters good field in vets and experts and thats just riders who did the online reg, it will be a great sight to see such a big field of riders, really looking forward to racing

get there early and sign on get your practice lap in and chill out..

That's the best thing I've ridden on a xc bike...simple as that!
