Epic Blast Photos.

Hi all,

I'm a new member to the forum having only really gotten into MTB during the summer. However I was up at the Blast on Sunday and brought along my camera for a bit of practice. I could only stay till about 1-ish as I had to head off for a soccer match.

I'm in the process of uploading about 140 shots to the photobucket website. I'll post the weblink to the album once it's complete.

Below is a list of the numbers of the riders who I caught. ;D. The files on photobucket are greatly reduced in terms of quality & size in order to speed upload times. However if you have a look and see a shot you want, post your email address below and I'll email the full image to you.

From what I saw it was great craic and a really good atmosphere. Fair play to those who organised it and the crew that built the course.

Talking of pictures, there was a guy in a tent at the finish with photos he was after taking of the heats - the prints were too expensive but does anyone know if he is selling cheaper electronic copies?

Yeah, he said he would make them available online soon, but does not have the facility just yet, he will post details on the forum when they are available. He had a cool setup with at least two photographers beaming images back to his tent via some voodoo uplink, the fact that he sounded Russian only added to the appeal.

Fergal you cheapskate..€20 for a photo is not that expensive if its high quality, he got a brilliant one of Carol that she'd have paid twice that for..
