It looks like a knitting accident to me. Making Kev a pair of Woolly shorts for the winter months.
i thought so myself Jack..looks like a Knitting accident or something a lady would do while baking or perhaps ironing.
I also missed the Blast (my evil plot to conquer the world of MTBing suffered a major set-back due to my own incredible ineptitude and stupidity!!).
I tried to go over what, for me, was a big jump - even though I've never actually managed a small jump.
The result: busted and badly bruised shoulder, although nothing broken
a puncture (no punn intended) wound on my right hip
a dirty, gravel-filled graze the lenght of my left thigh
and all this the Saturday before the big day!
Byrner, you saw the photos minutes after the event and have probably branded me the "Goober of all Goobers", I title I will willingly accept!
Those photos will be posted soon, as a lesson to all goobers (and a reminder to me) to occasionnally engage the grey matter when faced with encounters of the "greater spotted down-hill jump" variety.
Any and all criticism will be regarded as constructive.
Thank you.
I hear ya Joey boy, i hear ya. I stuffed my shoulder saturday and was sidelined for the event...and then smothered with a light layer of ridicule. I must say, it looked like a slog but who cares when your having that much fun. Id say the ambulance would have been much busier if it was dry....that chute section would have bust people up! haha.

Gutted i missed the event, fair play Epic for some sterling work.

Worst part is i only got 1 hour on my new frame....its sitting there now mocking me.....
Joey..you're a bit old now for that carry on..try XCing it for a while..as for Stan...Next year we'll have a Latte machine just for you
And chocolate sprinkles...dont forget them. My fitness instructor, Rupert, swears by them. Full of protein and other goodness.
