Most of you know the first Stevens I ordered was promptly lost/stolen by my courier company after I arranged for collection from Germany. There is a legal fight with the couriers for compensation but that bike is gone.
I went ahead and ordered a replacement so I could get to use it for the remaining club races. This time I went for an Alu Manic after being scared off the whole carbon thing, cost was an issue too. Gordon looked after delivery this time, did everything he could to help me out at a great price and he delivered the bike personally last night, despite sporting a broken wrist. You canât ask for more than that. Iâm delighted with it, it will take some getting used to after years of FS but it looks and feels fantastic, the build quality, paintjob and spec are all seriously impressive. Happy days.
