Just back from a week of trail riding in the eastern pyrennes.
Stayed in a small hotel run by an english couple who guided us each day ( on trails they clear in the off season) & made dinner each evening ( included in the price). Temp in the early- mid twenties with blue skies. Tough but reasonable climbs and big rocky sketchy descents (500-1000m), often along cliff edges. Other half, Nikki, came along & they worked out slightly less strenuous climbing route. Did 6 days riding, one day off in the local hot springs - even did a days DH at the local ski resort. Location is at 1500m with the Med in the distance below. Fridge full of beer, pool table & full garage setup were just great
