Well this weekend we have the DH champs as I'm sure you all know. Now we have a very important roll that needs filling by a responsible and able person, we need ourselves a Team/Pit manager to look after the riders for the weekend. Duties will involve such things as checking start times/finish times, ensuring riders are motived (you may want to prepare a half time speech for this), helping with mechanicals and the likes, supplying tea and jam tarts during the weekend along with any other duties that come up to help the racers. You will be paid with the best praise and thanks by the riders and the satisfaction of knowing that you helped support the club. Others may add to glamorising this position better but if you feel you are up for the challenge just submit a short story here in 500 words or less of why you are the person for the job or just say okay and we'll accept.
Im too poor to build up my DH bike or pay for the race so if someone can give me a lift up I will gladly hurl friendly abuse at the whole team as well as rounding any allen key bolts that secure fork stanchions or seatposts or rear mechs!!!
seriously though, ill do this no prob.

I get car sick so ill need to sit in the front.....and work the gears when i want and sit on the drivers lap pretending to drive as we enter the field.
