..they are every Tuesday and Saturday/Sunday..but first you have to either join EPIC or be in one of the other Clubs and be invited on, nothing personal but these are fast paced adventures and people can't just turn up i'm afraid. Theres no waiting around and everybody is 100% selfsufficient.
What we normally do is , we run a beginner/introductory day and you can join if you like it.
If you show real potential you get dragged on to the Savages.
Some people don't have the time to train or get out as much so they go on the regular Club spins which are organised by other spin leaders.
The people that go on the savage spins are there because they rarely miss a spin , even in the depths of winter, they are out there at night and at the weekends. its hard work but the rewards are huge.

theres usually 2 spins on a Tuesday..
a Savage one ran by me all year long..leading up to race season its XC but after the Nationals its big mountain at speed.
Colm or Cathal run an All Mountain spin every Tuesday, its not XC and its not Dh , it suits all levels except XC racers who should be on the savage spins. These are the core spins of the Club and while they are by no means handy, they will wait for you and nobody will hate you for holding them up.
On Thursday there is the Club league and in the Winter I run another night ride, usually its less fierce than Tuesdays but ..

Theres also 2 spins on Saturdays..
Colm and Harri take the Club Spin and I take an XC training spin ( on 6" bikes though)
Sunday i run a hardcore All Mountain spin from now til next race season.
Its normally relatively relaxed compared to Saturdays but still you need a high level of fitness.

So theres always something going on and theres always a spin on somewhere.

Complete newbies need to go on a beginner spin first, experienced riders can go on a Spin if we know them and they want to join.
People like yourself who have been out of the scene for a long time but who know the score are welcome as long as I give the nod..
Contact Colm if you want to give a Tuesday spin with him a go..
