Anybody fancy ending the season with a marathon race in Italy?
Friday 8th Oct: Catch your flight and transfer to your hotel
Saturday 9th Oct: Sign on, race, collapse, eat, drink, sleep.
Sunday 10th Oct: Guided tour of the best trails around Lake Garda (downhill bias), return transfer and flight home.
The cost is â¬225 including return transfers, hotel based on B&B, guided bike ride on the best trails around Lake Garda, and excludes flight. Flights are â¬155 at the moment including a bike bag.
The Race:
The inaugural Bio Bike Race at Lake Garda. Two laps of a 25km course around the Organic Valley called Val di Gresta above Lake Garda. Total distance is 50km, total climbing is 2000m. Entry fee is â¬25. These guys are promoting the event http://www.madmission.de/ so it will be a very professional and good criac.
Flights:
Depart Dublin to Milan (Bergamo) on Friday 8th October, departs at 16.15, arrives 19:55
Return Milan (Bergamo) to Dublin on Sunday 19th October, departs at 22.10, arrived 23:55
Hotel:
Staying at Hotel Martinelli based on B&B. The hotel is 30 seconds from the start of the race/sign on etc...
Need to get numbers sorted this week so don't hang about!
