I was going to stop by the jumps on my way home to have a gander but my wife was looking for me...lol....great blogging as usual, I must say the blog layout looks deadly these days too.

Does someone have a spare sister for Alfie? As much fun as it is to watch this XC legend spiral into a premature mid life crisis, seeing any man riding a kids bike in snickers and a piss pot is just not good for the sport.
As for you Byrner, there is a fine line between coach and enabler!

good craic yesterday, keep at it and you'll soon be flying, i just showed my 4 year old the photo of daddy flying on a bike, she said "you can't fly on a bike, you can only fall"

as for lucky to be alive Mellon, I used to play football with his dad! we grew up on the same street and are about the same age. small world.... nice kid.

No I think that's just your imagination :-) but yes, I will be making my return to the "proper" bike real soon. the gay finger is fixed now, the baby is due today, so hopefuly I'll make the last race on thursday (although don't think I'll get even close to my PB of 13:42) Jeez everybody seems to be getting so fast at the moment.. looking forward to getting stuck in again !!
