Marathon champs online registration OPEN

Hi All,
MBCC just wanted to let you know that preparations are going well for the upcoming MTB Marathon Champs and fun mini-marathon on Sunday 26th Sept 2010.

Online registration is now open and can be accesses from this link:

Entry is a very reasonable €20 for the full marathon (+€20 for day license if required) and €10 for the Fun Mini-marathon (license included!).

There will be food vendors on site to help re-fuel you, a raffle for prises for all entrants and category prises!

Some pretty savage looking climbs!!

Yes sure does,but depends whether the climbs are on fireroad or singletrack or grass???I'm going anyway,the Cooley Thriller has me wanting more pain!!

well , Richard..you should have come on the last couple of Tuesdays trainins spins, i'd have shown you climbs !!

i registered last week..

I see they've moved the parking to a field "approx 10 minutes walk" from the Start/Finish! That's a bit of a "pain in the ass" if you're trying to carry half a dozen bottles, food, tools etc!

why is that a problem ?
All you need is a bottle on your bike, one at Feed station 1 and 1 at Feed station 2..besides , The Culchie is responsible for all of that, it his job to bring the Tent,Burco and make sure all our bottles are looked after

Feck it!!! I've entered, it can only kill me once.
