Sunday Savagery Sort of !

Very nice day up the 3 Rock Massif today..huge turnout and some hilarity with the return of the Black Schlomp of Sodom !!!
Holy jesus there were some savage stretches of water up there and the old MXers have wrecked some of the trails !! but you can do a savage loop around the place without going in to the trees !!

Fell more today than I did for the whole summer combined - I had to pick thorns out of my nose when I got home! Slippy roots and pointy rocks make me very nervous. Great crowd and tough pace (for me anyway) from the start.

theres 30 years between me and The Greg !! pity he broke his dropout, he would have enjoyed that one..

Yea saw that poor dog at the bottom of the walking trail heading up to Fairy Castle, poor fecker looked on his last legs struggling up the hill!

The MX'ers have destroyed some of the trials alright but so have the horseriders, they've made a right mess of parts of parts of the place..

I agree, i ran off over one of the big berms on dream track trying to catch Rusty at the end, dream track is the best way o end the day up there. changing back the ignitors to high rollers for next time Dave!

I was pretty annoyed when the hanger broke on me, was looking forward to my first Sunday spin with you lads. Actually turned out to be a deadly days biking for me though, got a new hanger delivered to the side of the hill by James and had a days downhilling and then went for a spin down the top of Djouce... what a day!

It was a deadly day on the bike .. had near death experience on romper stomper, haven't had one of those in a while.. 3 rock never fails to give ye a good day out, even if the schoomp is well and truly back with us. Cheers lads
