- 5500 participants for the 89/40km distances (Estonian population is 1,3 million)
- Live coverage on a major (Estonian) TV station (full recorded coverage of this years race here: http://kanal2.ee/vaatasaateid/SEB-Ta...tamaraton-2010)
- At least 90% of participants in full lycra because you've got to look good for live TV!
- Around 2000 kids taking part in the mini-races the day before if you want to take your kids
- If you'd manage to get lost on the course then you'd probably also get lost on an indoor cycling track
